Newbie

It's always easiest to catch at evening, when it's getting dark & they go to roost. Yeah, same time some predators get them!
Yes that's why the lady I got them from said she had to get rid of them because a fox has decided to make them dinner so we did get 2. We managed to get Prince Charming in with them so hopefully they can get acquainted.

Sometimes it’s hard to have a pet dog that is farm friendly. Even working dogs have to be trained. Chickens seem to set some dogs off and they can’t stop. Sorry about Whiner.
Thank you. I kinda felt like if he could just get to know the chickens he would be a good dog but apparently he wasn't on board with it. It's better now though because I can now let the chickens out to free range.

Our DS and DDIL have a sweet and super smart miniature Schnauzer, she's great until she sees chickens or sheep. Then she's a Tasmanian. So dogs just never get beyond that. Now you all can relax.

Wally was attempting to chase Prince Charming yesterday when we were trying to catch him to put him in with the girls. He didn't get close enough to cause him any harm and that's pretty much the way he has been. Everytime I get new babies he's right there like he's begging me to let him see the new babies.
