I picked this yesterday and couldn't figure out what it was. I finally figured out that my mom has been selling me a whopper. She told me spaghetti squash is pinkish outside and really long. It's a spaghetti squash. That's perfectly fine with me though because I have dessert for tonight.

What a great harvest! What kind of dessert do you make from spaghetti squash?
Melt some butter and then add cinnamon and sugar. Oops forgot to add the bake in the oven until tender and the outer edges are a light golden brown. It's so good

I adore baked sweet potatoes with butter, brown sugar & cinnamon. Yep, candied ones are even better. But, not using oven in summer. I've found just slicing them into rounds, pan "frying" in butter, with cinnamon & sugar, makes for a great version! Gives me year round appreciation. 👍

I haven't ever been a fan of sweet potatoes but my squash is top of the line. I didn't think to use brown sugar but I am going to try it. My oldest granddaughter is excited about trying the spaghetti squash and pumpkin bread. I picked the big spaghetti squash yesterday and I spotted a pumpkin in the center of the garden.
