I've made goat butter before. Nobody but me likes it and that's deliciously dangerous. I do not need those calories.
I have a neighbor that can milk for me if I need to leave town...although Summer senses weakness and has her for breakfast so I'll try to avoid it. I'll also have however many of those experimental/mini ff i keep milking for us this winter. I was done with store milk in the winter when we kept getting jugs that tasted like chlorhexidine-please no.
You bring up something that's been bothering me. We need to get on our paperwork for selling milk. 2-2.5 gallons 2x daily is a lot and im keeping it crisp, cold, and clean. Milking year round means i have a leg up on the competition as far as customers that want milk on the regular goes.
