I am dumbfounded. Kitchen counters can really be that clean??????

I would like pictures of the table that most people eat off of, yet mine at the moment has ear tags scattered on it with names on the backsides that are waiting for me to run that group through the chute and FINALLY ear tag them. plus other assorted items of farmware. I have @Ridgetop and her husband visiting......... help yourself to that big pot of Cowboy Stew I made and have a seat in the recliner/sofa and eat!

Do people actually EAT on their tables??

A couple weeks ago I cleared off the kitchen table, and dropped one leaf. If there's a clear space it gets filled. Less clear space...
:D =D

I usually eat in my recliner, eating alone at the table sometimes makes me sad.

Heading out in a few for a dose of puppy. 😍

We eat at ours. It's often messy enough to prove it. It was actually clean that day, but nothing is this morning today. I totally should have taken a picture to remember the moment. The problem with this house and the number of people we have in it is that if an area is used at all, it looks trashed. There's no where to work or stage anything, including meals when we have five people operating in the same space. Different story when they went on vacation and left me home. Right now I have dinner plates, groceries, and toys/papers on the table and I'll be cleaning most of that up after chores in a few minutes. Makes me feel like a failure when anyone comes over and sees my humble shoebox and I think I see the judgement...but in reality the only think I don't clean is the boys room and the bathroom right now (freaking toilet pee-ers). Everything else gets cleaned over at least weekly if not daily and for the last few weeks with Mark's crazy hours I've been the only one doing it, so yes, I'm sick and tired of it, but it's all done MY WAY (evil laugh). Lots of stuff (that probably shouldn't) hits the trash bin. Hopefully next week Mark won't be working 7 am to midnight every day and I'll get a some help/interference. Stupid certain big corporation.

My daughter has 3 girls. If you give a date of arrival, the house might be clean. Or not. Chaos and confusion reign. Both parents have full time jobs, kids in school. Scrubbed, clean, nothing out of place..... this is the stuff of fantasy or living in a museum. Definitely not reality.
