How is Obi doing???? 🙂
The boy's doing good. ❤️ The hematoma on his ear has gone A LOT. But the ear is still half mast. We're still keeping close tabs on it. Of course the only thing that has slowed him down a little is age. He still works his sheepies and he invented a new job -- bring me all the dog bowls when everyone is done eating. He's quite proud of that skill (and it does get him some Pupper-oni!).

I showed this photo to my son, and he said Obi reminds him of Sprocket, the dog on Fraggle Rock!

AAAANnnnnnnnnnnd - we have lamb #2 of the year - ewe lamb, tiny thing, 5.2 #
Born last night as the sunset. This morning mama ewe (Patch) and baby are doing well. Bonded and nursing.
They'll hang a few days in a stall by themselves with a gate so the others can see them - and also keep mama Patch happier.

A ewe! Love to have ewes, but then I want to KEEP them! I think, with the 10 I kept from this year, I may have 40 ewes. I do believe that I'm going to HAVE to sell ewes next year. I'll have some 75% ewes to sell. BUT it depends on if they have ewes lambs to replace them with.

I know that feeling - hang on to all of the ewe lambs!! The last bunch I took a long hard look at what I had and actually sent some to the auction and the freezer. We'll see how that works this time around!
