Poor men, they just couldn't wrap their minds around stacking hay up to the rafters. So I went and got 20 more bales, restacked their 20, made "steps" and dragged/pushed/lifted bales up in the rafters and got it all in there. BJ came to "help" me. by that time I was all done. He was astounded.
What good would all that vertical space be if you don't use it? LOLI love that picture of Sage! You should print that one out and frame it. I love seeing all that hay stacked up. It reminds me of one time when I sent my husband and his helper to get square bales for my horses. They got 20 bales and BJ said the space allotted for hay in the portable building was full. Full? Only 20 bales? How could that be? I went out to feed and saw the hay stacked 3 high.Poor men, they just couldn't wrap their minds around stacking hay up to the rafters.
