Well, my barn is never that clean......

Been awhile since I put sheep in the pastures. I held off with the rain we've gotten the last month-ish to let things grow up a bit. So this morning I moved the ewes out to the pasture. Zo holding the front and Obi holding the rear. The boys did good and the ewes were happy to settle into munching.
Moving to the gate out to get to the pastures.
Back when I was doing lessons, a ewe crashed through and really bent the gate to the area where the new night barn/shed is. Now that the lambs are in there I've been using a few of the Premiere 1 panels to make sure no one went out on their own. They probably wouldn't have, but just erring on the side of caution. It's been a hassle of sorts to get in and out to feed. Then last night I was looking at two short cut hog panels that were joined with the Premiere 1 thing-a-jig (technical term!). And thought - hmmm there's no reason they have to be joined at the ends, they can overlap. Hmm - so this morning I grabbed them, brought them down to the bent gate and voila - I reinforced/patched/whatever the gate. No more hassle with the other panels.
