VERY Interesting about the "goat soup".... never heard of that.....
I should have sounded it out (mallasis) ... I have had a bad cold/flu bug and brain did not function....

Goats and sheep do not do well with getting fluids if they are not warm to start with.... they do not warm from the inside like a calf does for some reason....

Yes he's scrawny we are trying to get him to gain weight. (Helped him stand.)

Cold mouth is NOT good...low body temp. Warm water, not cold when he drinks the molasses water. Cocci is prevalent in young ones & not always with diarrhea. Warm towels yes, heat lamp yes. Food digestion poor/compromised with cold body. Where are you located? Thinking weather you're facing to keep him warm...he is not going to eat when cold.

No vets? Sounds like he may not have gotten enough nourishment while nursing, possible malnutrition issues now. What stores are near for you to obtain any feed/medical supplies?

Obviously we cannot diagnose. But helping with comfort as much as possible.
