Hey all, my cow is not getting any better, I dont see mites or lice but the dry itchy area is spreading. I put neem oil on her and she likes that. I did use the ivermectin twice. 😢 she gets minerals, forage, o/a hay, sunflower seeds, corn, cow logs, alflafa cubes, and fruit like bananas or apples. She came from a farm that didnt feed their herd corn (not sure if its a corn allergy) and I'm not sure if this could be from emotional stress.

Has a vet seen her? I am wondering about demodectic mange mites. I do not know if Ivermectin is used for those. But it seems like having a vet look at skin scrapings under a microscope would be helpful to figure this out. It certainly does look like it’s getting worse, in spite of everything you’ve tried.

Thank you for the heads up on demodectic mange mites, just ordered a gallon of vet basic lime sulfur dip to treat it. I only gave her ivermectin for it so that's not the medicine for these mites. Thank you for letting me know. 🙏 I have goats now for a few years and they never experienced this or any mite/bug issue before so thank you so much again for your time and advice.
