Yay for Kate! Congratulations on the Triplets!

We brought Kate and her lambs in so we can get some grain in her without having to fight with all of the others for a couple of days.

For my last post, I love having sheep that come when I call.
We have two more ewes due to lamb and that will be it for this bunch. Right now we have 17 lambs out of 8 ewes, They were all twins and trips except for Wendy, who had a single lamb this afternoon. Oddly enough, we didn't even know that she was pregnant, and she didn't look like it. Based on our schedule, her lamb might be from Rocky (her son) so that one will be going to the market.

Triplet and twin producers are great flock keepers! As long as they are good mothers and produce enough milk for them. Congratulations!

We start giving some 16% feed after they start lambing but nothing before then. Early on we were giving feed earlier but we were getting huge lambs.

We only had one single out of this bunch but she wasn't supposed to be bred.

Another set of twins today and the only one left to lamb looks like she will be doing it any minute,

That set of twins turned out to be another set of triplets to Miah.

Your ewes must have been in a really good situation to be flushed (on purpose or not) when you were breeding to be getting all multiple births like this. That is great for you. So still one more to go?
