October has been a month that seemed to be the month where everything seemed to break at once. We had a freezer quit, a refrigerator quit but it was easily repaired. We had some power issues, a well pump problem and a problem with Teresa's car. And the latest happened when we had a company come out to pump out our septic tanks. Long story short, nobody in our area carried a replacement lid that is square like we needed. We replaced the broken lid with a riser on one side of the septic so that turned out to be a plus since now we don't have to dig off the soil on the septic since the riser has a screw off lid.

I believe they call that the snowball affect! I hope it's done now.

I have been messing with my Polarus for the last week or so and finally had to admit that it's over my head and called in the expert. They loaded it up and took it back to their shop.

I had a follow up today on the injection I got a couple of weeks ago and they are arranging for another procedure(s) where they do a couple of test injections that supposedly will take the nerves that are causing me pain to not send a signal to the brain. I'm willing to try it since my options are still limited.

Teresa's brother (85) had a fall last week that broke his hip. They now have in in a care facility so at least he can start rehab. He isn't a good candidate for inactivity but hopefully he will do what needs to be done to start his recover.
