Apparently I've worn down my friend Holly to try cross stitch. She's a natural crafter and is good at many things. But she's always told me she doesn't have the patience for cross stitch, even though she's literally crocheted tiny snowflakes out of thread.
Last night she sent a picture of a little stamped kit she's trying. Of course, her work looked great. She complained that the cat face she was stitching looked like a lego so I showed her how to make a half stitch to round out those hard edges.

Worked on this while the kids watched The Apple Dumpling Gang. I don't have a good reason, but I don't like that movie.

I got up to use the bathroom and get some water. My little guy got into my stuff! He pulled the needle minder off the fabric, bit off the top of the marker I was using to track, and got some of the marker on the fabric

I *think* so. But I'm hoping that, even if it doesnt, it won't matter since I have to stitch over the top of it.
Definitely praying it comes out in post finish wash!

Got to the end of the chart on the left hand side in the one shade of green. I've started to fill in with some darker green.

Made a lot of progress today. It's cold and my kiddos are sick so it was a slow day.
