The cat design looks great. I also go through those "all or nothing" phases with crafting, so I totally get the obsession. Cross-stitching is a good way to switch it up after a big crochet project.

It appears I made a bad mistake when working on this project 6+ years ago, or however long it's been.
I definitely used a wrong color for the water.

Now I'm debating what to do. The color isn't so far off that it's obvious. But I doubt I have enough of that color to finish the water. I can always buy more since I have the color number...
I wish it was less because I'm inclined to just frog it. But it's a LOT.

Thank you so much! I've been cross stitching steadily now since the end of sept... I think? It might be time to switch crafts again.

All that work, that's so sad.

My husband used to tease me when I was crocheting or knitting, that it was a waste of a good ball of string. Then he'd say, "have any mistakes you want me to pull out?". Lol

So it doesn't match the color that it's supposed to be. None of us noticed! Yours looks great. Keep on with it -- and no one will ever know. You didn't notice right away either - so there's that!
