I inadvertently picked another pattern that represents my bucket list. I always thought going on a hot air balloon ride would be awesome!
Idk why though, I'm scared of heights.

Ended up having to frog a bunch of stitches this afternoon. I made good progress today in spite of that!
You can see the mistake in the last progress photo. The greenish under the ballon is water. I had miscounted somewhere so the water moves down a row after it passes the balloon.
I decided it was one of those mistakes I just couldn't leave. So

That's so beautiful.

Our daughter bought us tickets through Groupon for a balloon ride. We scheduled it and had to rent a hotel room, because it was about 3 hours away and we just wanted to have a relaxing trip. Anyway, a storm blew in and we weren't able to go up. So we rescheduled, but the company went out of business before we could go. I was so disappointed. I hope you'll get to check it off of your bucket list one day.

LOTS of progress today. Almost everyone is down with the stomach flu, except me and one of the boys. I stitched in between washing lots of laundry and cuddling my sick little guy.
