Waiting on tractor parts....chilly 31* but sunny out. I'm inside warming. Truck on jacks, front wheels off, parts expected Monday 🫤 showing in transit, and expect on time. Good. I need both running. Tractor injectors, so not long install time.

Expecting mid 20s tonight -- these are our Jan/Feb temps.

If you are going to haul many bales... you need a "bale bed" so that you don't have to do all that strapping down.... Hydra bed or Deweze are the 2 most popular here... I think the 2 we have are hydra beds... because that is what was on the trucks when we bought them... DS liked some of the things about the deweze but not changing out what is working on a truck already.
Although I am not sure you could get the third one up that high... Now if someone loaded them with a tractor... the arms could be used to anchor the top one.... DS has hauled 3 at a time to save trips to go feed when we have some of the 4x5's.... lot of strain on the back of the truck.... but then you guys like to push the limits on alot of stuff....

They were free so I took as many as possible. Only takes me 10 minutes to strap those down, I think I spent more time BS'ing with the owner than strapping them down. Plus this truck won't have a flatbed here much longer, I just played musical chairs today getting ready to put the service bed on it. Need to pull pieces off another one I have (which isn't necessary to install the service bed), bolt some latches on and figure out how in the hell they attached it to my truck, had to have been U bolts.
