And going back the other way, tractor not secured anymore. Welp it's a trip to Kansas, back and screw the funeral with the surviving spouse and anyone connected on that side. My family is in Montana.

Funerals are for the living...

Going to be a fight over the tractor, you’re right. Just skip it, you went to see your father before he died, that’s what matters.

When are you going to put one in the freezer?
Soon as I find time and clean the freezers out, got 3 full of food.

Two more goslings hatched, brings the count up to 12 hatched this time around with about 10 to go. Wouldn’t believe how loud over 60 ducklings and goslings can get when it’s watering time.

And the rich arsehole part time neighbor finally threw in the towel :gig:gig:gig:gig
Looks like a suburbia house screwing a log cabin or someone moved in to each others living space? If he gets that much for the place then we need to sell out, he doesn't even have a well there which is very impertinent and will cost the next owners $75k.
I've got 144 acres, a well with water rights, power pole on one corner of my properties, a rock quarry with mineral rights and a pole barndominium that is custom that no one will ever find one like it. I should sell our place for $1.5 million for all this.

A monthly note of almost $4500? What jobs around there pay enough to make that affordable? Hunting on 40 acres is not much. I have 25 acres, there is a 30 acre hayfield next to me and I could stand at my fenceline here at the house and reach beyond the property line of the hayfield with a rifle.

If you could get a big price like that for your property, where would you go if prices are that stupid?

They are saying that you can just go play all you want on the 640 acres of BLM section of land next door that is leased by a local rancher who has control of if any vehicles or any hunting goes on there. He doesn't allow it cause he has cattle there.

A section of land unimproved goes for about $700k here or less and that's where I would go where the crazy lady doesn't live or block the road from me going in and out. Not any for sale right now, but I could snag one and then sell here
