They finally listened to me!!!!
I told them they need to offer to help someone to get their CDL as no one has them anymore and aren't easy to get on their own outside of college. Employees need an incentive to work somewhere, not here is a dead end job.
Driver's license with CDL - Class A endorsement preferred, but not required. Employer is willing to help the employee acquire their CDL training, if interested.
Hopefully they will make sure the prospective emplyee also speaks English so they can understand the class and test!

Hey, did you get buried in an avalanche???? Or frozen ?????
Buried in work is the appropriate answer. Temperatures hit the upper 30's, low 40's and it has been a mad dash till the next deep freeze.

Pretty good read I found as it explains a lot.

One day, in the not-too-distant future, you’re going to be standing on your back deck or patio. You’ll look out into the trees, into the darkness. And you’re going to say to yourself:
I used to go out there.
I used to want to go out there.
I used to want to be out there.
You see, we get hung up on the past as if our accomplishments are behind us and never able to be duplicated—as if we will never rise to the occasion again. But that person who volunteered over and over again, they’re not gone. It’s not some unattainable former glory that is now impossible. You were able to accomplish those things because your mind made you do it—because it wasn’t satisfied with what you were, and it wanted what you could be.
It never ends.
You are always going to be a Green Beret.
You are always going to be a Ranger.
You are always going to be a Soldier, Airman, Marine, Seaman, etc.
Just because you may not be able to do it physically anymore doesn’t mean you can’t still be that person in your mind and in your heart. Get “I used to be” out of your thoughts. Be who you were meant to be—and who you always will be.
Because your friends, your family, the people who look up to you, the next generation—they need you to be the person you were meant to be. They believe in you all the time, even when you don’t believe in yourself.
It’s not “used to be” anymore.
You’re going to be—as long as you walk this earth.
Let that white stone that marks your grave tell everyone who you used to be

Glad to know that you are covered up with work and not snow...

Work that isn't getting me paid any since the imaginary bid has been paid fully and I get days where we spend 8 hours putting two doors in cause he thinks he knows what to do and wanted to do it himself with me helping by holding it.
He bought the wrong door jamb size, tried using some used doors he got without the door jamb already installed so if you know what all is involved you understand the frustration here. Time he got done with one of them, there was more holes in it than you would find in an arsehole day parade in Sacramento.

There is two ways to get to town from where I am, one way I refuse to go as this is what I pass each time.

That is a beautiful writing. As we age we start to say "I used to be"/"I used to do" more often. We need to stop thinking that way. It takes us longer to do what we used to do when we were young, but we get there eventually.

Thanks for reminding us that our hearts and minds don't age as fast as our bodies. :hugs
