The journey into the abyss of no return

It's been months since I butchered my pigs. I haven't sold one piece yet, been for sale for awhile, keep posting it, but seems the processor I went through is frowned on here. People ask who processed it and then it goes silent. So I now have over $3k worth of worthless pork or at least that's how much it cost me to process them.
Might have to buy it from my business and just accept it as a loss.

Can you donate it to a food bank and use it as a tax write off?

I rather just eat it all than sell it to local food bank. There is a group of neighbors that eat from there, my special ones. They aren’t benefiting from my work.
I was thinking that. Ohhh but wait consider the possibility the special ones would stop eating - solves the problem :hide

Nope, but I do have views to die for. I mean, just imagine waking up to these views with bison roaming around.. Skip the tourist heavy Yellowstone for bison, some duck/chicken eggs locally grown and some bacon/sausage for breakfast. Yeah we got a market... Drop a pad of rock from my gravel pit so they don't burn the place down with a fire break for double security.View attachment 128812View attachment 128813View attachment 128814View attachment 128815
