It is almost time...Finally...

Tippy is a 2 yr old 2nd time freshener. Due March 17th - 31 days to go.
Breed Oberhasli - Red/brown with black markings(normal Oberhasli color)-Carries the black gene.
First Kidding - 1 black buck
Sire a Spotted Nubian
This time she is bred to a creamish colored ND with black and tan markings

Ginger is a 2 yr old 2nd time freshener. Due March 22nd - 36 days to go.
Breed: Nigerian Dwarf-Chocolate colored with white frosting
First Kidding- 1 chocolate colored w/white frosting doe, 1 black with white frosting buck
Sire: a black with white frosting Pygmy buck
This time she is bred to a creamish colored ND with black and tan markings

I am really curious as to what these two girls produce this time. Color wise it really cold be anything. My buck thus far has only produced female offspring (none for me yet)- his count is 7 kids.I am considering keeping a buck from Tippy and him to use next year, but if he holds true, there will be no bucks for me. Soo....

What I want:
Tippy- at least 1 buckling
Ginger - does prefered

Tippy is due on my birthday.

Good luck with kidding. Looking forward to seeing what you get both gender and color wise.

I would just like to say my girls are driving me completely insane. :barnie They have figured out this doe code thing and even though they are not due for almost a month, they have decided to start bellowing early. Every few hours they start yelling and of course I just have to go see what the issue is....and of course I just have to bring out treats....and of course along with the threats comes some petting and loving.....This is Anarchy I tell you....Anarchy!!!

Missy: I have a Lamancha/Nubian Doe due on March 22nd as well. This is her first time as well as ours! I'm so exciting to finally get some milk out of her! She is bred to my registered Nubian buck.

We are finally getting close. Tippy is a little bigger, her udder is not looking much bigger though. I am hoping for at the very least a last minute boom. Ginger's udder is coming along nicely and the poor girl doubled in size.

As for my little buck,
Last posted count from outside goats 7 kids/7doelings

New count 11 kids/11 doelings.

I bet mine are going to have all bucks to make up the difference. lol.
