Yesterday I was trying to explain to someone what color my alpaca is.
The best I could come up with was mottled silver grey.
Is there a proper term for the color he is???
Can I have some opinions on what his official color might be?
Or was I spot on with my definition I came up within 5 seconds. ;)

This is Victor.

Haha, thanks!
I got him for free from an older couple who couldn't take care of him.
GOOD DEAL RIGHT?
And he's healthy as can be.
He has the cutest little feet I swear! I love his feet.

Only downfall is he has the personality of a gargoyle sent from some fiery pit of an abyss.
He's a jerk. haha

I think he's technical considered a tuxedo gray. He has a white head and the white seems to go down his neck. The tuxedo pattern would most likely be a "incomplete" pattern since the white doesn't go all the way down his neck.

OOH a sort of botched tuxedo gray?
Tuxedo gray.... sounds handsome.
I LOVE THAT.
That sounds a lot more better than mottled silver gray.
Thank you so much!
I will use that to describe him now ;)

His now-identified color makes him really unique.

He's medium silver gray. The color is determined on the blanket down by his skin. The coloring on his face and neck aren't considered. It would be on his registration that he has some white on his face and neck but in the show ring, he would be in a medium silver gray class.
