Having coffee. Slept better last night. A few small things on list today...couple light bulbs for car!! Get another hose. Rest up. Back to work tomorrow for couple days. Some resets of the longer, more intense types coming up. Will be busy with those. 🙄 Guess the summer work slow down is over. For a month, anyway. My wallet will be happy.😁

Hot all week. Those scattered pop up rains possible. Yeah, usual summertime. Better get out and see where everyone is 🙃

No 😖😡 to remove oil pan, to insert timing chain cassette, had to raise off engine mounts to get 1" clearance 🙄. 20 yr of in place, hard to move bolts! It's a PIA for an otherwise "easy" job. Lots of 🤬. Bursts of rain interrupts things....disturbs mental do it attitude. I'm frustrated but, hopeful.

Good Morning ALL!! Happy MONDAY!!!!!!
On Fri night FH and I put the required deposit down on the building we are going to use for the ceremony and reception next JUNE 15, 2024.
He had to work on Saturday but we went out to eat that night then yesterday we spent the entire day (well almost the entire day) without our phones buzzing, ringing. We ended up getting PIC ATTACHED for cheaper than what the website said it was so now later this week have to move the fire pit and dog kennel (friends will help FH do that) in order to set it up on a nice even spot.
Congrats on the pool and the wedding planning progress!

I recommend getting some sand to spread under where you are going to put the pool. It will be easier to flatten out than dirt and will make for a better flat floor. Home Depot or Lowe's sell really big bags of sand a truck should be able to handle.

Agree. Did this when I had a pool for DGD. Makes a better surface for walking and NOT having punctures in liner from "??" Is on ground.

Also...at ladder...have a brick stand area with tub of water to rinse feet before going in. 👍 Less pool cleaning

Well my FH and I don't have a truck. We have a small pee on car but he treats it like a truck so it will work . We do have friends that have trucks though and probably this weekend one friend is going to get our new riding lawn mower. Damn MAN of mine just had to waste money on a piece of equipment just so he could mow but at least he'll be sitting on his behind which is his favorite thing

and seeking shade under the sagebrush (tick city 🤢, thank God for Seresto collars). I am assuming its because of his very thick, very heavy, lush coat.
I also love Bravecto. I'm not sure I've tried Seresto but I used to use any and all with a weekly bath, seven dust anywhere near where she was tied up, more seven dust, more baths and still couldn't keep my inside dog inside 1 day after the bath (because of fleas) at an old house. The Bravecto pills kill anything that gets on them. I think it helps with every other animal here, since the ones that get on the dogs die without spraying the pasture.

Mornin ya'll.

I use Bravecto on my dogs too.

Coffee is ready. Taking Sheba and Buford to the vet today for rabies shots. I hope this won’t be the train wreck I think it’s going to be.
That reminds me. Along with all the other meds you can't get yourself anymore, Bravecto is on that list. You have to take them TOO the vet and they must get their shots before receiving the Bravecto. Also the $30 for the vet to give the dog the rabies instead of just selling it. I remember the rabies vac being sold in a vile of 20 doses. Every time I had a litter of puppies, I'd give all my dogs that were old enough a shot and every friend or brothers dog a dose until I ran out. It spoiled by the time they needed the next dose and I had to buy all the extra anyway.

Rabies, too???? Missed that one but, don't use it now. Used for horses. Dogs always to vet to have certified.

Coffee, chores and off to work. 😝 Two days of that. Not ready to totally quit but, ready to stop going  it's a summer attitude thing :D =D it shall pass.

More 90+ and possible pop ups...a ditto day👍 probable rains on Wed -- again, same every few days. Thankful for getting enough rain here!! Crops all around are looking good, so farmers should get great results.
