I was so happy to get home that I had to go feed the chickens and get the eggs. Cheeks started laying again and today because I didn't get a chance to get the eggs on Sunday so today my girls had 18 eggs waiting for me. I will take a picture of the eggs tomorrow and get them posted.

Yes and to finally have Cheeks laying again is awesome because she's my only olive egger now. The girl I lost was Cinnamon and she was an olive egger. I love seeing all the beautiful eggs they lay. It definitely helps with decompressing.

Tomorrow I am going to be in the kitchen making cakes, cookie dough, biscuits and homemade egg noodles. Then I plan on making some bread and dinner rolls. Hopefully the kids and grandkids will enjoy them.

When we lived in the middle of our small town and all I had was backyard chickens, they were the first place I went after being gone a few days too. I had neighbors they fed the dogs and chickens, they got to gather and keep the eggs.

Chocolate chip cookie dough is done. Now I have to go to the store to get more butter and flour for the rest of the baking stuff

The guy that buys eggs from me decided he needed 12 dozen today so I sold him those and I still have one short of 4 dozen
