It turns out that there was only 2 Cinderella dances. The opening dance and the other one but In the second dance the music changes so to teacher put it as 2 dances but it is only one. When the music changes that part is called the stroke of midnight and it is faster then any other dance I have been in

For the first half of the dance recital we are doing Cinderella and the second half is the student showcase where anyone who wants to can make up their own dance. My oldest sister, me and my little sis are doing a dance to Simple by Florida Georgia Line

Today the farrier came and did Phoebe and Doras hooves but today was an awful day for the farrier to come because we had to be out there for like 2 hours and it said it was 2 degrees but with the wind it felt like -23

"Nice" at 16 degrees? That would be a full on miserable probably record breaking storm here. Probably would include ice, snow, busted water pipes (because dummies don't know to just turn water off for those few days), lots of wrecks because we don't know how to drive on that mess and no milk or bread in the stores. I don't know why, but the forecast of a hurricane or a winter storm generates a run on milk an bread. What lurks in the minds of Southerners...........

They did the same in New England where I grew up. The Cumberland Farms (think WaWa) would be stripped of bread and milk shortly after a snow storm was forecast.

Kids home from school -- milk & sandwiches! 😁
And if it is 25 or 30 out, and the power goes off, you just stick the stuff outside in a box on the porch....or in a snowdrift or something... And "back when" hot cocoa was made with milk in a pot, not hot water.... PBJ and jelly did not need heating up or refrigerator temps....
If you were lucky and had a propane stove, then grilled cheese went GREAT with the hot cocoa...

You don't think 16 degrees feels nice until it has been in the negative 20s for a week then when it gets up to 16 degrees it feels amazing.

Yep... days of teens and such makes 25 feel absolutely balmy.... I cannot imagine negative 20's for days on end... we often had 0 to 15 when I was a kid... and if there is no wind, it is tolerable... 25 feels like summer... I don't mind the cold so much as the wind just goes through you.
We are down to 11... it has gotten colder all through the day... but the wind this afternoon was like it was below zero... and it was still in the mid teens...
