2026 journey

Shame we're on different coasts...I have several cream legbar roos. Some need to leave 😂 But I get lovely eggs -- blue, green, tan, dark brown, etc. makes for a pretty surprise when you open the egg carton. Lot of hens & other roo breeds.

Gosh darn, we would have been happy to take them😂

Here’s some pictures for yall. I just got a hay net for Demi because he eats his food really fast and I want him to have his grass hay off the ground during noon-ish time. I think he’s pissed about it😂😅
Also some baby bunny pictures! I’m cleaning out there pen today so we can add to poo to some plants.

Update #11 5/2/26
Did some lead work with Demi for about 15-20 minutes, I just stood there well he had the lead attached then did some small pressure and release. He did have his ears pinned back a few times and swished his tail but he didn’t act up thankfully. I left after he licked his lips. Everyone that trains horses says I need to get my round pen set up so I’m going to try doing that on Sunday.

Update #12 7/5/26
I get home from school at around 6:20-30 so I work with Demi for about 30ish minutes or till it feels right. Worked on some leading and he did pretty good, although I’m still a little nervous that if he gets to close he’ll rear up again but so far so good! The program I’m doing it through just emailed everyone about the video check in mid June where we film a quick 5 minute video and based on how good it is we can win some cash prizes! I need to work on building a better rabbit set up because I might be getting another breeding doe or two and I need to wean off the babies here soon. The semester is almost over and I’ll be able to work with my animals a lot more, just two more weeks!

I bet that he can sense your nervousness. Take a deep breath and try to relax. I know if I've stressed and go in with my rams they are pushy when I'm relaxed they are as well. Animals are so good at reading us.
