Good boy! 💞

Do you have a crate like that ready for him?
It's outside but out of the weather, just needs a quick rinsedown. I should still have a big plastic one in the shed, too. Have offers to lend me gates/fencing to close the gap between the kitchen and living room. I was thinking of making one from cattle panel if necessary, but would prefer to not have to.

Yeah -- milk jugs and water bottles -- crinkly things are always first choice (eating them not of course). They make covers for water bottles -- some are cloth, some are made out of fire hose material, some rubber, there's one called Holee-Bottle (they also make a "ball" called Holee-Roller), there are some that are a rubber wrap (unlike the Holee ones). They let the dog chew and enjoy the stiffness and the crinkle sound. A kind of play/chew with supervision even with the covers.
OH and a good chew bone --- Benebone the wishbone shape is the best. Don't get the one that looks like it will roll around - you'll step on it and go flying and not in a good way have a crash landing.

That about a cow hoof? I used to buy those for my terrier cross. She'd eat a rawhide bone in a manner of minutes.

Caleb was destroying a rope toy this afternoon.
Long ago I used to give cow hooves. Don't remember why I stopped, some reason but don't remember, maybe what they walked through? country of origin? :idunno whatever, anything I give to chew has to be USA.
