The penguin is now not only wingless, but footless, and almost completely gutted.

Caleb is spending today in the side door hallway.

He's working on the dollar store toy gift, now. Amazingly, it's tougher than the $pensive penguin probably was.

Boone chewed a hole on side of his balls ️. Randy let him out with his jammies on so he peed in them. I figured out what happened when I saw him standing behind him gagging and dry heaving trying to unbutton him

I took it off for him and did put a cone on so let Caleb know because misery loves company. I had to laugh because Boone sticks his whole head in the waterfall barrel to drink and theres a wide snail trail of water on the long porch where is was draining out the cone on his way to the door. He’s an absolute menace with that thing! It caught on the door handle and I thought he was going to rip it off the door. He’s knocked over my water and knocked Gizmo off my lap!

I didn't realize that Boone was getting snipped.

I walked Caleb down the street earlier, first time since the Deed Was Done. A neighbor saw us, said Merry Christmas, and added "Someone get neutered?"

What gave it away?


He's doing really well on 1/2 the prescribed dosage of Trazadone. He's been resting but not doped out of his mind.

Gotta laugh at the 2 of them... she's trying to figure out why she can't just do what she always did... he is just too tempted when she is close... and now the cone.... poor Caleb...... just funny....

I had to loosen the cone, it appeared to be choking Caleb at one point, well, restricting his breathing.

He was put in his day crate with a chicken foot when we sat down to eat...and now he's crashed. On half a pill.

Caleb woke up very active, not listening to Mom, ignoring Rules. He definitely needs to get more exercise. But NOT until he heals more.

Half a pill works. Might need some refills...
