Bone spurs are terribly painful. I would imagine, being on your jaw, that you can hardly eat. I hope the appointment goes well.
I use a homeopathic remedy for bone spurs. It dissolves them over several weeks. There are several brands, Hylands being the most popular, but I found this brand, more product, less money. It’s one of a dozen cell salts.
So far gotten down 8 steel posts for the dog pen out here in this frozen tundra as I would consider it. Going to make two pens, one large pen that goes around the Waddle Wattle Inn and a second one inside the first one. Going to be gradual here is the birds and you can't touch, after a bit of trust and small introduction time to time gradually let him in to run with the birds yet get used to this is home. After letting him run with the birds introduce him to the property and show him boundaries (about May/June). I figure by next winter he will be ready to free range.
Off to Burns, Oregon to hit bank up for personal loan to cover the CC card I had to use for Randy’s surgery, cuz with the interest, we’d never get it paid down. Both pups will go meet vet, get weighed and set up a vax schedule to make sure bases are all covered.
These LGD’s are dangerous animals. This unassuming 12 week
puppy took down a full grown man and nearly consumed him by the time I was able to intervene
^Enjoy that puppy time it’s good for everyone. One thing I noticed is that the puppies I had were afraid of the dark. They of course got over it but I was guilty of adding a little light especially for one Pyr pup who ended up bunking with her Uncle Max a rottie x pit bull who thought he was an LGD and in fact served as one for years. Caution, warning, disclaimer I have no idea why Max watched the sheep faithfully. He just did. Approved breeds are a better choice.
1/2way through the week and already on my 2nd and in front of . It's peace and quiet here right now at 4:15AM seeing how FH and all the dogs are still sleeping. The temp is currently 46 but it's cloudy which is a big improvement from last week. I so wish it would like this until at least April but from what I heard late next week the beginning of Feb Old Man Winter is going to be back for weeks and he's going to dump SNOW on us.
Now instead of just doing a cake/cupcakes FH wants to do a Dessert Bar/Table yet he says I need to stop making it more expensive than what it already is.
Yeah, I expect Feb to be winter weather still. No snow, please . Two of the deepest snows ever in my area were first few days of March . A strong noreaster met a polar plunge.
We're overdue. Scary. It's just such a hassle. Makes everything dramatic, very unpleasant.
