Coffee anyone ?

Bathroom busted at work again.... so no 3am coffee for me.
The moment... and I mean the VERY SECOND day shift takes over I'm running upstairs to the lab's bathroom!

Coffee is ready. I slept until after 6! Today is March 1 and freezing weather is gone.
I moved chicks to the hoop coop yesterday. Just went out and checked, it’s just above 70 degrees in the middle of 4 heat lamps and all are ok.

I see warming now...time to start garden plants! Then, find time to till garden gotta make that happen. I need my garden this year -- physically & emotionally.

Have to finish getting these rolls of fence up on posts. They've been here a year I need to plan a week off work, stay home, work harder. . Hello spring.

Good morning. Awake at 4:00, up about 6. Coffee brewed while I moved everything out of the way for the delivery men... they're supposed to bring my new washer and dryer set between 10 and 2 .

I ordered the set back in December.

Yesterday I felt like digging, worked cautiously on the blueberry area. The end where the rainwater collected was still damp, so all I did was loosen it. When I got to the drier area I started turning it over.

I stopped just past the second raised bed. It's almost big enough for the six blueberry bushes.

I used DMSO after my shower, and had NO muscle spasms in bed last night!!!

Coffee done, breakfast done but with a small snag - the igniter on the griddle didn't click at all - so switched breakfast up some instead of the usual. Sheep out in the pasture for now because the weather is finally what it's supposed to be - spring-like and not roasting summer.
Thought I'd share something I learned (the easy way thank God).
Gloves. I always have them and use them. They have saved me more times than I can even begin to count.
The other day however, I learned something. I was reaching for something and the glove got caught on something else. No big deal, but it showed me a possible problem.
Take a look:

DH's glove on the left, my now modified glove on the right. Yup - ya' see that
"Adjustment strap" - the one I don't think anyone uses? Yeah - that's where
something slid under. If it had been an emergency or heck a hoof, horn or whatever
it could've been ugly as my first reaction would be to yank my hand back, and that
dang little stupid strap would have held my hand and arm in place. Could've been
a big ouch.
SOOOOO -- I cut the straps off my gloves and will do the same with DH's.
I've had this type of glove for many years, and several others as well (w/o the strap)
never had a problem - but boy that could be a big one.

I still like to get my hands in the dirt, but not where I can't see what may be lurking (spiders, snakes, etc).

I'm puttering around the yard, don't want to get too involved in a project when delivery guys could arrive at any time. So I weeded a couple flower beds, and gave the Spring weeds to my flock. Yum, yum.

Bugleweed and evening primroses are the green clumps along the back.

I get what you are saying, but I use that adjustment on my gloves all the time... keeps hay out of them when I am using sq bales, and keeps alot of the chaff and stuff out when I am on and off the tractor with the rake and have to clean out a wheel or something...
