Thank you :hugs We aren't calling this home anymore either. I was quickly reminded why we are leaving as I came down the sierra's. Then back to hearing the non stop parties and all. Getting easier to leave here each trip. Spending that time at home really made things clearer. We're both really pushing to get this done. DH has work to do on my rig before I can leave again but he's already ordered parts. Need to order a new set of tires still too. We were discussing what will be packed next last night. We're both feeling like we are getting close now. Need to get things written up to list online for sale. Been putting it off for too long. Could really use the funds too. Fuel is expensive even out of CA right now. Cost a couple hundred extra this trip. Not as bad as we expected but definitely cost more.
Checked on everyone last night. Found a few things that needed treatment. Had a calf in who had a swollen knee. An infected cut. She got me pretty bad in the arm. She was like a ninja. Thought it was broken at first but don't think so now. Been a long time since I've been kicked that bad.
Taking it fairly easy today. Still recovering from the trip. Will milk 2 of the cows tonight for the house. We're out of milk. Need to work with the two heifer calves too. Well really just the one but will work with them both. The one went practically feral while I was gone. Hope I can make progress with her again while I'm back.
Nothing much else at the moment I think. Probably time to get up and get moving before DH wakes up.

Thank you. Yes definitely planning the next load already. Should be able to get going soon with all the cows/calves being relatively stable now.

I think that's what helped a lot. Put it on right after the kick. Took Solomon's seal also.
 
Going for my second cup, then laundry, it's a sunny day and I'll hang everything outside. Gotta call the Hyundai dealer and order a plastic under carriage shield that broke and made a lot of racket. Clean house. Got a whole list of things to do. Pick up my puppy Thursday. Leave out early, drive 4 hours to the other side of Austin, play with puppies, visit with Erick, choose puppy and drive back. Got to get her pen ready too. Friends coming in FRiday. Sarah is catering a wedding on Saturday and I'll go help. Her mom, daughter and 2 dogs are coming too. It will be fun. Wednesday I take my SIL to therapy, full week ahead. Clean house. So much to do.

Oh good morning sister,
I hung towels and sheets out yesterday morning and did house chores Saturday PM. Iam going to sow more carrot seed and a few more beets, water and weed, I think I am safe to plant the cucumber starts and zuc squash, I'll cover them at night with jars so the field mice dont eat them.....
DH is going to finish leveling the greenhouse foundation and work on it.
I'll get the coop scooped and set 6 eggs under the broody, clean up Mr Goats area and give him fresh water.
DH have a tele-med cancer appointment with a naturopath in Portland at 5.
Yes a FULL WEEK!
