@SustainableAg & @Baymule -- yea the time change stinks. Waking up at my "normal 5-5:30 and now it's more like 6:30 --- I'm starting out behind. Grrrr - even if I set an alarm for the "new" 5-5:30 I'd still be behind because I can't do things in the dark. Tractoring, grazing, dragging arenas are all in daylight jobs. Get things done I get back to the house and it's after noon. GRRRR
Which means if I need to go down the hill to town I'm now out there with all the crazy drivers too busy to pay attention.

Just got in. I had to leave so I could get home and feed before it got dark. Barely made it. Nephew’s wife is pushing now. They don’t need me there for that! LOL

Went to work later than planned as I found a doe had kidded. Cold and windy, so put inside a stall. Plus she's a dairy doe with a gal 2x day milking habit. Her udder so full it was shiny! Had to milk her...bottled kid, and still took qt inside. Another qt this eve, both going to my vet in morning. Anyway -- kid is big, she's full and hangs low...he's lost.. Tonight a bottle then got him on her . Will do again in morn and watch to be sure he's finding things. In barn for couple days. Then she'll have to be milk shared to keep her comfy....he can't drink 2 gal a day.. So up at 5, back inside 11. Hello bed!!

Woke up waaaay too early. Couldn’t go back to sleep. That means I’ll be falling asleep this afternoon if I sit down. Phooey.

I went back to sleep at 5, woke up at 7:30. It’s chilly, but will be sunny today. Guess I’d better get ready for baby chicks. It will be raining tomorrow and Friday.

The cats woke me up around 3. I turned on the radio (there's a 5:00 preaching/teaching program I listen to) and laid back down. I VAGUELY remember hearing the preacher at some point.. but actually woke up when I realized that I was hearing music again - so it was sometime after 5:30!!!! Out of bed, showered & dressed, cats fed, chickens let out, cows waived at and in the car by 5:45! Barely made it to work on time & am on coffee #3. Getting up too early messes me up every time!
GLAD I get off 'early' today.

My new kid had discovered he has knees!! Then he can get to milk bar no bottle this morning. Thank you!!
