I’ve only had sheep 8 years. I’ve been called for jury duty many times and many years before I ever had sheep. Besides, my darling sheep don’t STINK! LOLMaybe what they smell is sheep

fresh pot of coffee, help yourself 
Once the caffeine gets circulating, chores begin. Just getting decent light, little cloud cover out there - will clear shortly. But a real chilly 24. I'll warm up quick, as I have 500# of feed to take off truck first thing. Not in the mood when I got home at 7:30 last night. Then, add a doe to milk. And back inside to get ready to go to work.
I slept well last night, a good thing!
A friend had a goat kidd twins and one had intestines outside it's little body. Very sad & strange. That's several "odd" birthings I've heard about this yr. Way more than most, actually.

The rain has started with the worst to come by lunch time. First cup of coffee down, now to work on bills.

I slept all night, finally. Got 9 hours of sleep. This morning I’ll concentrate on getting ready for baby chicks. They are in Coppell, Tx so will probably be here in the morning. Supposed to rain today and tomorrow.

I have successfully balanced the main check book! It only took me an hour... transposition errors suck. 24.45, 42.45, 24.55 What's the difference? ALOT

*I* did NOT say your sheep stink! We all have our own smells and they can waft on to other's clothes
You are in cattle country TEXAS, the lawyers probably knew you would get sheep some day and be a pariah. They didn't want to be associated with that in the future

Looks like all of you east of me (OMG this IS all of you 
)OK most of you are getting the wet stuff we had. It stopped yestrerday afternoon - followed by being IN the cloud. So nothing even started to dry out at all - that layer of cloud wetness (could not see the barn from the house). Total amount of rain from this storm a whopping 2 3/4 in. So that's what you've got coming your way.
And ugh - the snails are out in force - decimated my bush bean seedlings
. So far - I've fed almost 3 yogurt tubs of snails to the chickens. I should probably set out cups of beer for them?????
Think I'll organize the pantry today.
