Coffee anyone ?

We have something coming -- rain, freezing rain, snow, maybe all at some point. Filled all water tubs+ couple extra, in case. Hope no power loss, well pump. Goats & kids all set and settled.

I've charged all my battery headlamps, inside rechargeable lamps, iPads, etc! Have lamp oil, kero for heaters, candles, butane & cans of safe heat for light cooking. Vehicles all full on antifreeze. Heat tapes already been on for barn waterlines. Lines insulated, too. Big tub of water at back door...if needed in house.

Food & feed covered. Think I'm ready to relax.

What happens, happens.

It's precipitating here, supposedly rain but there's a sharp "sleet" sound when it hits the top of the hoop coop.

I paid mine and see it just appeared... so have hope.... mine took several days...

I think our ice and snow storm decided to tame itself down. It’s going to be in the 20’s at night but up in the 40’s during the day. Going to be rainy, so icy roads.

Some very light graupel here earlier. Winds lessened only 33 right now and not much different expected. Maybe we lucked out here we will see. I really hate snow.

DD a little tiffed as schools closed in anticipation. Now home. As a sub teacher, not a for pay day.

Started snowing here about dark, a little after. We have about 3-4 inches from what I can see.... very fine snow. Temps around 24-25...
