My rig truck is a 96' ford cab and chassis. I don't want souped up, no stage 3 injectors or super turbo just a 4" exhaust, ccv mode and I'm pretty darn sure the turbo isn't mounted correctly deeming it useless. When I had the 6.7l it pulled the camper to and from a job. When new to me and a working tune it would MOVE even with a travel trailer and get almost double the mpg of the 96' with out a trailer. If the welder quit I'd run home and switch to the 96' 7.3l. I've had to use the 96' a few times and it's gutless pulling and getting 11mpg without a trailer. I've taken it from western to eastern KS on the way home with my camper once with your kind of winds. Less than 8 mpg and a max speed of 55 unless there was a mile or more of a wind block near the hwy. Both my 7.3s have over 250k and should safely double that with those little increases in power. Again not soupin em up, just tuning a little.
