Coffee is ready. I need to make a feed run this morning. That will make Carson happy. He loves the feed store.

I'm lucky that I don't have feet problems. I've worked on concrete and could tell it at the end of the day. But no lasting damage. Being on the farm, I wear boots everywhere. Rubber boots in the mornings because of the dew, boots the rest of the time. There is nothing friendly to bare feet outside. In the house, I have on socks because I kick boots off in the utility room or I have on flip flops. When I go to town I wear tennis shoes or flip flops.

I woke up before 4 AM. Did this yesterday too. Phooey.

Wet, light fog this morn....got rains 7-9:30pm 🥴 another half inch or so. Gosh, I need a couple days of dry 🙄

Anyhow, coffee time is still appreciated. Sunshine would be nice but prob not gonna happen -- poss scattereds instead. This has been such a a wet summer. The hurricane wanna be, now off the coast, is supposed to stay off shore, still it'll be sending more rains from outskirts. Wish I could share with those needing it.

Was hot today, HUMID... and cranking up for the next 2-3 days.... It has been hot in the dairy barns even with the fans running... One more tomorrow afternoon... going to be hot and sticky/humid.... Not much of a break except maybe temps dropping 5+ degrees next week.
Don't overdo. :hugs

If the yard weren't sopping wet from dew I'd be outside, mowing. I'll probably go troubleshoot the raised beds before long, it's light enough to see.

My mechanic called about the Camry, the catalytic converter is completely clogged, needs to be replaced. It's going to be about $700, so he wanted to know if I wanted to put that much into a 25 year old car. Well, it runs. I think I will just do that, as I can't buy a running car for that amount. And with DS driving daily to classes and me still working, I feel I should hold on to what has been a dependable car for 17 years.

Another "investment" before I retire. Oh well.
