Coffee before I start back up at my "fall cleaning" in this house 😳 Began in kitchen - including empty & re-org all cabinets. Wow, some real effort!!! Wash & re-oil outside. I'm doing this like my jobs, one section at a time. Left side done, now right side. Also did a re-org in a storage closet with canning supplies & winter basics, so canners & paper goods can fit back. Overall -- WTH, it's a mess🤪. But that left side of kitchen sure is pretty!!! :old  ...truck is backed up to front porch, accepting bags & boxes for the dump! It's all day coffee for this effort. Scrub, scrub, scrub, oven, frig, MW, etc. Dining room tomorrow, easy. Tues/Wed it'll be living room & bedroom.

Started with most intense first...kitchen. Some seldom used appliances put into storage closet saving countertops.

This is worth the time to watch. FYI: it looks nothing like the YouTube preview.

That was so cool. #1 glaring mistake—no foundation stones to get it up off the dirt. Soil contact is rot and termites. Placing candles on the wall next to dry boards would make me nervous. Otherwise it’s a snug, warm house, able to cook a meal and a place to sleep.

It is raining. I’ve got to go to church and go to Conroe to pick up my granddaughters. I’m sure glad I got new tires with deep tread! I lost 4 MPG with the changing of the tires, but that’s ok. I drive in mud, ā€œpondingā€ on the roads and now I have new, better tires.

Ran outside to do morning chores, started raining before I was done.

Gooooood Morning! Coffee tastes great. @drstratton you might have me sipping tea soon.
Yesterday's twins -- ah, yeah. Silver - mama ewe - decided she'd rather dance than let them nurse. GGRRR ARGHHH.
First I held her => holding head, smooshing her bod against the stall wall, shushing the lambs to the teats. What a rodeo. At bedtime I found a rope halter and tied her up - that helped some. 2am woke and went over to the barn to supplement feed and wasn't about to mutton wrestle in my pjs. Told her, if you don't let them nurse you're going to the auction when I wean. Snuck into the barn early this morning to feed and let sheep out - and lo and behold she's letting them nurse. Thank you God!
Yesterday, besides lambs was canning salsa - 5 pints. Today more cowboy candy to can. Maybe start severely whacking the tomato plants.

Some are tender when first nursing happens, esp if a FF. Once they get some relief, they know to call them to nurse! Relief 😁 doesn't make our job any easier :old :barnie

I like the ditto silver twins....but the black is great color!!
True - though she's not a first timer - this is her third go around. She was witchy as a first timer, second time she was fine. So that makes the third time and her first twins. LOL she's nursing on again/off again - and when I threaten her with going to the auction she nurses. Go figure!
