I attended a proposed solar farm hearing in the town over from mine last evening. What I witnessed was worse than I imagined: they're prepared to develop over one of the LAST grasslands in New York.

Today was another beautiful day and we got a bonus we weren't expecting.

This hawk was flying around us. So pretty!

They are having vintage hydroplane races here, starting tomorrow. We will probably stick around and watch for a bit. I believe there will be a total of 9.

Sun heading down. I'm hoping to get some better pictures as it drops further.

Coffee’s ready. It’s Friday, where did this week go?

Friday is generally my day off. Since I started working four ten hour days and having a three day weekend I've noticed my productivity increase. I use one of the days as a mostly "rest" day, another as a mostly "work" day, third aa a combination. Things get done without exhausting myself because Monday's coming.

Does that make sense to anyone else?

Perfect sense. You also don't feel the rush to "have to" get as much done in one and a half days so you can get things ready for Monday. Plus there are things you can get done on a weekday, and not have to push through crowds and such on Saturdays when everyone else is off...
If the weather is bad one day, you can also switch days of doing things. Just more flexible.

Coffee, small breakfast, cats fed...just chilling. I'm not pushing, yet. I need to call the organization that's helping me with my Medicare B and secondary choices, will do that later this morning.

I gave my admin manager my resignation letter yesterday. She looked sad, said that I had told her that it was coming. Then she added "That's what we all work towards, right?" She's young, sweet, cute little thing with a 5 month old baby. I doubt she got the reference at the end of the letter:

"It's been a long, strange, but fruitful trip."

Your work schedule and 3 days for your own schedule makes sense to me too. I’ve worked on projects all week. Thinking I might actually fold and put away the clothes in the laundry basket that I’ve been dressing out of since Monday. Maybe dust, sweep, mop, all the stuff I hate.
