Any info on how the cattle are? We had the first round about on a highway (in wa state, don't know about elsewhere in the country) installed in the little town where I live. Lots of orchard workers here, took a long time for them to learn how to use it, even now the drivers make me nervous.

I'm sure they are fine, we don't have one roundabout we have two coming right off the interstate and if you hit ice you are going to plow into the steel decorations in the center "brilliance"

Coffee is ready. For the record, I don't like roundabouts. We sorta kinda halfway have one around the county courthouse in Crockett, where roads come together, go around the courthouse which has parked cars around it. the businesses that are across the streets from the courthouse also have parking in front of them. Backing out may be hazardous to your health.

I hate roundabouts... They have started putting them in all around here and they are NOT conducive to people having good driving etiquette...

I look both ways before entering roundabouts, that's how much I trust society.
In the largest populated town of Montana is Billings, one road has 8 of them in a line. Look at 302 or locals know as Shiloh Rd. In total I'm sure there is over 20 roundabouts in Billings.

One cow escaped from that accident yesterday, all cows are fine. The local ranchers drove in and started roping the cattle on horseback, while someone went and commandeered some cattle panels from the local ag store.

We don't have roundabouts here... something about them being dangerous to tourists. Oh and I have no clue how they would handle it in the winter.

Not yet, just frost in the morning at 32°F. We were in the 90's last week, 60's this week.

They're talking about putting in a round about here, there's one (or two) now in the town we moved from. I don't have a problem with them. It's everyone else who drives up to them and are stupid or scared. People here are not good drivers and it's getting worse. Heck - it's becoming that STOP signs are mere suggestions. People blow through them all the time. Seriously - on any drive I'll see at least one or two blow through w/o stopping or even slowing.

Good morning all! Currently 44°, with a high of 73 today.

We are getting ready to head over to Seattle. I hate going over there, too many people. Early tomorrow morning we take DIL & our grandbaby's to the airport. While I'm ready to have my house back, I'm going to miss my baby's.

Our indoor project this winter is a MB remodel, So, we will be going to one of the large tile stores over there to see if they have anything we like. We also have to repair the ceiling and wall in one of the basement bedrooms. One of our frost proof faucets developed a leak and caused a lot of damage. If it's not one thing it's another. But, first is a major house cleaning. Yuck...lol
