Chilly 42 this morning. Tomorrow morning supposed to be down into the high 30's...37-38? Then moderating a bit. Doesn't look like we will get much if any of the storm going up along the coast. We got .7 out of the rain Tues night/Wed and it was very welcome, if not enough. Grass looked greener yesterday so there's that.

Sun is out. Samples to get packed, Go get the burn barrels, and milk while right near there. Need to get outside and get something done.

I have several detailed paragraphs of yesterday's visit. Please tell me if you're interested. I try to spread accurate details information about this kinda stuff so that we all learn! Ya never know if you might need some of this knowledge.
It's very important to be educated about health issues. I hope you have a clear plan now and that his prognosis is good. :hugs

Good morning all! The clock just struck midnight, my time. I might have gotten 30 minutes of sleep, then something woke me (starts with a D) and then I started wondering if Dale took the garbage out, so I got up to check and now I'm on my couch wide awake... sigh! How's that for a run on sentence...lol
Hopefully I'll get sleepy soon and can get a little more rest.
OH man -- night before last I woke at <cough>2:30 --- couldn't get back to sleep. It was a work day and by dinner I was toast. Slept good last though!

56-79 today. It was supposed to rain - ha - scattered blue sky, rain? What's that?

That makes for a long day.

We're supposed to get rain this next week, we'll see.

Coffee is ready. I was awake before 4, got the dishwasher going. I invited a new neighbor lady over for supper last night, we had a nice evening. Her daughter has gone to Tennessee to pick up 2 horses and will be back Saturday. I have to pick up my sister in law this morning and take her to the doctor for lab work, then back on Tuesday at 8:00. I took her cigarettes yesterday, she was almost out. This afternoon is the 50's ladies lunch. Busy day.

Have had no rain in over 3 months, it's dry, brown, under a burn ban. There is logging going on on land at the end of the road and waaaaay back there. There is a series of roads on that land, and a road that comes out on a paved road miles from here, but the main road on that land is impassable right now due to it being so dry. The sand is so deep that the logging trucks will sink in it and get stuck, so they are coming out on my road, down at the dead end. There are 2 sandy places on my road, so far, it's ok. I don't like meeting a logging truck on my road. It's narrow, most places only one car can get by. I've had to back up before.

Would be so nice to have neighbors like that. We built in the wrong place, but it's where we had to be at the time.

Your sister in law is so lucky to have you. What a blessing for her and I think for you too. 💗

Logging trucks can be very scary, especially on narrow roads. Have a fun and safe day. 😊

Good Morning! Slept late for me (6am), didn't get up immediately. Have some errands to run, drop off my marriage license at the local Social Security office, might even walk a dog at the county shelter. I started doing that last Saturday, but since it's supposed to rain all weekend I thought I'd go get my "dog fix" today. And I might go pick up a load of blocks for my garden project.

@Baymule what a blessing you are to your sister. Both of my sisters live too far away to visit regularly, one's in western Illinois, the other in western Minnesota.

@drstratton my DH's family is mostly gone, one SIL in Connecticut, maternal side cousins in Alabama and Raleigh. They're not like Ron, I can't relate to his family at all...except the AL one, she's genuine. If/when I take a trip out west I want to stop and visit with her again.
