Better this morning. I have read studies about using DMSO for dental pain, so I put a little on my face, between my lip and nose where I'm feeling pain. It eased within a couple minutes, but came back after an hour. So I took two baby aspirin before bed, got me about four hours of sleep before I woke up hurting. Used a little DMSO again, gave me another two hours of sleep. Drank my cold coffee (no hot food/drink for 48 hours) and when the pain increased I used the DMSO again.

Might not work for everyone, for everything, but if it helps me without taking more meds then I'm thankful.

Iced coffee and a disappointing store bought turnover pastry. Perhaps I’ll eat the last one and spare Hubbs the mediocrity of the product. Hubbs is in another state attending a company Walk for ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease) in honor of his previous boss. Company pays for travel. The gathering is the brainchild of the same HR that can’t manage our health account. Old problems solved, new ones have appeared. Hubbs has a flight back in concerning weather, I actually hope he stays put for a day. @Baymule my dogs were restless too. A cool down and impending rain has everything moving around. Game camera snapped a pic of a good sized feral hog. Hubbs found a dead one a week ago (probably what Caddo rolled in :sick). It sounds like a pack of orcs when they fight in the underbrush. Off to rearrange chores around storms. Have a good day all.

Drinking my tea. Looking at everything I need to get done... too much to list...lol
We spent a lot of time out in the yard yesterday. I think my husband was trying to say, see, if I can do yard work, I can definitely play golf... so that's where he's at... brat.💗 His stomach is still bothering him some, but it's much better. I'm just glad he feels up to playing. He's worked hard his whole life, he deserves to go out and participate in his favorite sport. It will be over a month before all of the testing is done, hard to get an appointment for the MRI he needs.

Hope you all have a beautiful day! 💞

Today I need to have a "chicken roundup". Youngins will be put into a containment situation until they accept the roost/nest location. Thankful to have a coop that needs only a little maintenance work first. Then, dusk will happen & chickens will be carried there. 🙂. It was yesterday's plan but a Benadryl tab kept me dozing most of the day. I accomplished nothing! :idunno My mistake.

Coffee is hot & fresh...nice early wake up. Weather stats show a good day coming. Back to job work tomorrow & OT this week. Gonna be a jolt after a month at home 🙄

coffee is ready, on my first cup. It finally rained yesterday afternoon. I fed early, could see it coming. It rained a half inch. Thought it was over. Nope. Here came the rest of the storm. Power went off, came back on an hour later. It flickered several more times. It RAINED. I'll go out in a little bit to see how much in the rain gauge. No rain for three months, grass is brown and crunchy, kinda late in the season for it to revive much. Winter grass should have started growing in September, maybe it will make up for lost time.

Last time I went for dental (20 plus years ago) at the VA they wanted to pull all my teeth. Broke a tooth or two off couple of years ago, nope y'all ain't touching it. Going to save up for implants as I know where my future is headed, only have seen a dentist 3 times in my life.

Cup two almost done. The coyote pack passed through after sun up - argh - but since I was up they were "reminded" this place can sting. Then two German Shepards came through - know idea of here they came from or who they belong to. I'll be letting the sheep out a little later than usual. Either my shoes need to go or I twisted my ankle -- probably the shoes (Sketchers) as they tend wear out and cause trouble and I don't remember twisting my ankle at all. Wearing my hiking shoes now and all seems well - so I'm betting on the shoes. No grazing today just to let the ankle return to normal.

Does anyone recognize this variety? I know the Heavenly blues and Grandpa Ott. They are my new go to flower because they deal with sandy soil, are pretty, hardy and inexpensive. Good morning all.
