at least my food supply is bountiful!Check your order as soon as it comes in, but this should help you in the future and anyone else. Though please check your order soon as it gets in and don’t count on them for emergency parts.Wow...the "S" word!None here yet but the cold will be on Fri & Sat. Maybe hit 40 days, might not see 30 nights. Brrr but only couple days. Until then I'll still enjoy upper 60 days
Yesterday was costly with ordering parts. Front end on truck (upper&lower ball joints, tye rods, etc.) and fuel injectors for tractor. They are probably made of gold but, found a supplier who didn't try to triple prices. Whatever. I need both running. Safely. It's only $$ right???Yeah, during my no work time. The good news is that, I do have 5 rolls fence & posts here & paid for, once tractor cooperates that can happen -- plus time at home to do. Not all bad, just some bad.
That's my wallet horror story....now I'll enjoy my coffee, hoping these parts fix my world for a change.at least my food supply is bountiful!

SHHHHHH!!!!Hate to tell you... but 8:30 to 4:30 is 8 hours not 9......![]()
PHEWWW !!! Thank God they did it - now you both can relax.I'm on the hump of the cold. It was a mild one, thank goodness. But it messed me up.
Took hubs to OHSU for an 8 a.m. appt to remove the radioactive disk. Traffic was extraordinarily light, so we got there at 7:20. Sat in the parking garage. At 7:50, I get a call from them - where are you? Will you be here soon? WHAT????????? We leaped out of the car. I was wearing a mask, as was he. We got called in right away. Standard questions. Blah blah blah. So You've not had anything to eat or drink since last night right? RUH ROH.
He did. He had cereal and half a bagel at 5:30. I, yes I, screwed everything up. I didn't check the instructions or check the Folder which i have been referencing a ton.![]()
Long story short, I quietly got teary eyed (they couldn't tell), admitted it was my responsibility and only mine, and they talked about how to solve this. Turns out they were going to use local injections, but they also wanted to put him into twilight for about 2 min. They finally said they would not put him under, and explained to him all that he might feel. Hubs wasn't scared and he said no problem.
You know, us old people are stoic. Youngsters are ninny babies. I had two kids naturally. I lived thru two knee operations and hoarded the pain pills for something that might be bad later.
The procedure took 12 minutes, and voila he was returned. He told them he felt nothing - no extreme pressure, no pain, nuthin. He hurt a bit last night, so I gave him a Norco to take when he went to bed.
On the way home, I dropped off two boxes of canned goods to the homeless men that are proliferating Portland. I did it last week too, and got lots of Thank you, ma'ams. Today nobody was there, but they will find it.
