Regarding an earlier post about wind, denver cut power and I've heard of lots of people having school cancelled. There was a terrible fire almost exactly 4 years ago because of similar conditions, and it's not worth the risk to have it happen again.

Snow, snow, and more snow in the forecast. It will be a white Christmas for sure!
Not ideal for me to try and leave town at some point, the drive is mildly treacherous anyways, and a solid 8 hours. But I think I will try Sunday.
Got home from work about 8 last night and couldn't wind down. Last day before two weeks off, I got a ton of stuff I need to load up and bring home, that might be a right now problem so it can be over with.
Y'all have a lovely day.

We got 2.04" of rain yesterday. It poured buckets.

I woke up at 4:30 a.m. and read the reports about the Clackamas River flooding in parts of it, down in Oregon. Level three go now flooding in the wee hours of the morning!!

I did errands yesterday morning, and by the time I was done, there was standing water everywhere.

Poppy, my 1.5 yr old cattle dog, has coccidia and another parasite, which I can't remember what the word is and I didn't write it down. Neither one are causing problems, but I did go to Costco to get her an Rx for Albon, a parasite killer. The vet said that the other one, which I can't remember, was only recognized by the "antigen?" "marker of some sort?" other word for "seeing that it was there at some point"?

Oh well, time to enforce getting rid of standing water in the summer/fall. (looking at you, hubs and son...)

Made bone broth last night with a pork neck bone, a beef bone, and two of Caleb's chicken feet. It was delicious, but I brought the rest of it over to Caleb's foster mom. She's been sick with the crud, and can barely stand long enough to make herself a meal.

Now we're home and I feel a nap coming on... :caf
