Sorry. No...I'm not going anywhere close to SD, at least not by driving. And I even have a nephew who lives somewhere, within the city, up above the freeway?

But, the coastal areas are lovely in the summer months. Just stay out of the cities....

My sister lived in Portland, OR for years, just moved east to MN about 7 years ago. She loved the growing seasons in OR, but the molds made her sick.

They do get a lot of moisture that we don't get.
I just looked our average is 8", (I thought it was 10"?, so I'm not sure which is correct), we're currently 6.76" for the year.
