Good evening all!
Pouring rain. Thunder woke me up. Beautiful skies right now.
DH got my main rig ready to go last night. He's working on rig #2 again tonight. Almost done with it. At least for now. Then onto rig #3. Going to look at sealing the leaks in the trailer from the inside. Then start packing again. Feeling so much more hopeful at this point. More looking forward to being moved than dread. This emotional roller coaster needs to end. :fl Next dairy heifer to calve is really starting to freshen. Need to get another run in before she's actually due. Feeling the pressure at the moment on that.
Have to take christmas goodies over to the neighbors tonight and get that done. Made 5 more batches of peanut brittle last night. Not sure if that's it for the season or not. Hopefully it is. Would like to pack the rest of the christmas stuff and put it in the next load.
Hope you all are having a blessed weekend!

Coffee is ready. It's 46, high today of 64. I have my propane heater on, Tinkerbelle took 8 ounces and she is napping. Carson raised his head to say good morning and went back to sleep. I'm going for my second cup and waiting on daylight so I can get morning chores done. Church this morning and it is my turn to teach the childrens class for the next 3 months.

:caf I'm not a good morning person.
Especially after watching your neighbor burn trees all night?

We have fairly lax burning laws here, probably wouldn't have any except for wildfire dangers. You have to go online and put in your address and size of burn, so the fire department doesn't come a'running once they see smoke. AND it is requested that the burn not be active (high flames) or unmonitored after dark. I get it, not burdensome. I burn every year or two years, just branches, pruning. I'm overdue, my pile is big.
