Then we realize we're so thankful we're still here and can feel tired, anxious, depressed, sleepless and pain. Once we realize that, we can look around and see all of the good things we have in our lives to be even more thankful for!Body: So tired
Anxiety: We have so much to do
Depression: Lets just crawl back in bed
Insomnia: Lol, good luck!
Pain: "Kicks in the door" S'UP GUYS!!!
I recall a graphic novel I read years ago. One of the characters was severely injured, but survived. Early on he said "Pain is good, it tells me I'm alive". I still remember that, 35 years later. Then we realize we're so thankful we're still here and can feel tired, anxious, depressed, sleepless and pain. Sounds like you're handling it well.I'm up, on an ice pack, had some oatmeal, cup of coffee, took pain pills, i think I'm gonna live through this. I even turned on the dishwasher. I might even fold the load of clothes on the sofa. The other half of my bed has a pile of clean sheets, sweat pants and other various items that I haven't put away. As long there is room for me to lay down, I don't care. Carson wants to go outside and I need my second cup of coffee.... I'll have to get up.....
Whine, whine, whine......... A little less pain.........I'm breathing and I know I'm alive, buzzards aren't circling.....I recall a graphic novel I read years ago.
