Coffee anyone ?

I could finally hold down a pain pill and took a trammadol yesterday and another one before I went to bed. I slept like a rock, only woke up one time, then slept until almost 8am. My supper was a piece of cornbread split in half, heated up with butter and some delicious buckwheat honey from @drstratton. I'm thinking some oatmeal for breakfast.
Good to hear!

Caleb was a bad boy. He was sitting on the top of the steps when he saw a cat and took off for the woods. I went searching but couldn't locate him. While I was driving around I got a text from my brother that Caleb had come home, he was barking at the door.

He's being doing well on recall, with a whistle or the clicker. Oh well.

That Buckwheat honey is good for you! Glad you got some good sleep and you're able to eat again. 💗

Gonna be another day like yesterday. A balmy September day starting at 70 heading to 95 (but will probably hit 99-100 or so if it goes the way the rest of the week goes). I've got sheep things to do but the poor things are stressed with the heat so I'm holding off on somethings. With the heat we've got the inevitable flies. A few weeks ago or so grasshoppers appeared. We usually don't see them until July-ish. Now they're all over. Oh and our concrete driveway is full of dead rolly-pollies. :sick That's pretty much normal but not in the amount we're getting now.
Any one have a tinfoil hat they care to loan me?!
The yellow jackets and European paper wasps are out in force all of a sudden with the heat. Way more than normal for this time of year. Couple nights ago I noticed we suddenly have slugs. We don't really have slugs. Well clearly we do now. They are everywhere. All over the house walls, the walk ways and they even somehow got into our window screens. Disgusting. Wish we could have free range chickens still. Last night I saw a june bug on the barn wall. :hu It's definitely not june. We rarely see them but usually only end of may early june.

Yeah, I'm afraid the bugs will go crazy around here too with the warm winter we had. We often get sub zero temps here, but not this year. I'm hoping it was cold enough long enough and they won't be as bad as I'm thinking they will.
