Coffee anyone ?

You should see the pile of salt right now with dead bodies scattered through it. :lol:It's the only revenge I could get for snotting up my walls and screens.

Would love to know what you learned for preserving lemons. I have a box of them waiting as we speak and my friend has a ton more on her tree. I usually just use the juice and freeze dry the rest for later.

Thank you so much!! Can't wait to try this. Haven't had such a thing before. Sounds delicious. :drool
First -- do you have those ginormous slugs (banana etc) or just the regular ones??

Will also work with limes.

Good afternoon all! :frow
A bit cooler today but the cows and horse are still panting and miserable.
Jersey heifer has been acting like she really wants to start labor since this morning but hasn't. Will probably wait until the heat of the day. 🤦‍♀️
Got a lot of yard work done yesterday and moving more things that are going up for sale. Slowly making progress on getting things ready to go to our new home. Deciding what we are taking and what's going has been a process. Also trying to get things moved so grass grows back before we list this place to sell. We have area's that had garden tubs and weed cloth that hasn't allowed grass to grow yet. Well I guess grass isn't technically what grows in the yard. More like weeds. 😂 It's starting to look like we're moving on the outside now. Mostly focused on in the house and barns to date. As this coming week gets closer I feel more and more refreshed that the move is actually going to start going full steam ahead soon. Taxes on monday. Graft these calves (one the heifer calves) and make sure they are healthy and the heifer is ok and I'll be on the road.
Need to go pull some more briskets from the freezer to thaw so we can get them in brine tonight for the week. Then we can cook them next weekend. We have a ton in the freezer and they've been coming out so good we might as well get a bunch of them cooked up since I'll hopefully be getting back on the road soon.
Time to go check on the heifer again and see if she's making any progress yet.
Y'all have a fantastic rest of the afternoon! :hugs

I was able to go to the site from the QR Code and it brought me to a document that shows 3 methods of canning.

Thank you!

I hope that heifer calves for you today and the calves are all healthy.

You're getting close to home! 💞

Another Keith installment...
What people think Keith is:
- A problem
- An escape artist
- The reason the north fence needs replacing again
- More trouble than he's worth
- Dave's most expensive mistake

What Keith actually is:
- A three-year-old Anglo-Nubian goat in a field in Devon
- The reason that field has fewer invasive species than it did three years ago
- A scrub management contractor who has never invoiced anyone
- Running a nutrient cycle that predates the concept of environmental impact assessments by about ten thousand years
- Aware of every weak point in every fence on the property
- Not going to tell anyone

Keith has escaped forty-two times.
Keith has also eaten more bramble than any conservation volunteer ever has.

Dave logs both.
The net outcome column is positive.
Keith does not know this.
Keith is thinking about the gate on the south side.
