Coffee anyone ?

I don't know why I get sick from milk. Sometimes even white chocolate bothers me, mostly not. I can eat most cheese, Colby, etc., just not soft like cottage or cream cheese.
Now that is interesting. Especially because, is there even any dairy in white chocolate?? I thought white chocolate was sugar and plastic. :lau But whatever it is, super processed stuff.

My celiac son was definitely better with hard cheeses than soft cheeses (back when he still ate gluten). So I would think you maybe also have an intestinal something going on. But mild nebulous issues are so tricky to pin down!!!

If you do decide to do a trial of no gluten.... it takes about 2 months of STRICT zero gluten for the gut to heal. There isn't a clear easy celiac test. The blood test you take for celiac is really just testing to see if your body is irritated. And then you cut out gluten, and test again after x amount of time, to see if your body is no longer irritated. But, maybe testing has gotten better now... we did all of that excitement about 15 years ago! And we tested everyone in the immediate family, and only the one kid was positive.

Also, I am NOT saying you are celiac... just my experience.

Good morning coffee!! Yes, it's delicious 😋 @4:30.

Weather says rains starting around 3 & lingering rest of afternoon. That'll sure put a damper on some egg hunts 🥺 but maybe lucky & will hold off until later. Not an issue here, no littles.

I'm thinking a slow day for me will work just fine. Next week work schedule is heavy hrs & work type very physical. Rest & prepare, yep. Resets are in laundry goods -- so I'll be moving hundreds of jugs at each store :hide every day. Such is the job.

Looking like I have a Boer doe who'll be kidding in short order. Prob my last one to kid for now. Might have one of other 2 Boer later this summer, as they're year round breeders. But I'm fine if not. Nice to have fewer this year after selling off so many adults earlier. Have a couple more adults to sell in a month or two. Culling out to reduce herd numbers. There's some awesome doelings from this year I want to keep.

Interesting, right? Most quality white chocolate actually has milk in it.

A few years ago I became aware that non dairy coffee creamer and dessert topping do contain a small amount of dairy. Sherbet does, too.

I wonder if it is the chemicals in the farm environment, and additives to the dairy cows' feed, etcetera, that I can't tolerate. Store bought eggs make me sick, but I can eat eggs from backyard sources with no issues. So I'm hoping raw milk might be tolerated.

Good morning, Happy Easter!!!!
I drove back yesterday, was a good drive back. Had a good trip. Parents mare was supposed to foal when I was there. But ended up foaling last night after I got home.

Morning full of celebratory church today. Will go into work this afternoon to get organized and ready for the week/month.

Have a blessed Easter today!

Good morning all. A chilly start here. 30 degrees cooler than lately. Yesterday's high was lower than Fri mornings low.
I live an hour from the Tri-Cities. Are you just visiting someone there?
I was working on the paper mill just south of Tri-Cities. 2020. That's a long haul with a camper. Never again. Same with NE just going for work but a lot closer.
I won't be to far from where you turn off I-80 to turn south on 81.

I'm glad you made it back safely!

Have a beautiful resurrection day! 💗

My husband worked at the paper mill when he was an apprentice electrician.

He threw away all of his work clothes when he was finished working there. Couldn't wash the smell out of them...lol

Have a safe drive.

That or what they do to milk in processing even...? So many chems used now, the soils are full. To use no till, some fields are chem sprayed instead, before planting. 😵‍💫 I'd think, if chemicals, you'd react to more than milk. Maybe you do. If so, comparing "those things" might give a hint if more than lactose.

Do the lactose free milks affect you?

Fortunate to not have those concerns for myself but, I'd be sad to not be able to have dairy.
