Deworming Kids

What do you use to deworm kids that are 8-9 weeks?

Is Manna Pro Positive Pellet Goat Dewormer safe for them?

I would use Valbazene liquid dewormer.

Why do you need to deworm an 8wk old kid?

Yes, I am asking the same question. Have you had a fecal done?? Do you suspect coccidia? Is there a problem with the goats??

we deworm ours before sending them to a new home. And if they haven't been treated for cocci with in the past 3 or 4 weeks, we do that, also.

Be sure to tell the new owner that they've been dewormed and what with and what dosage so that they don't over do it with the same thing when / if they follow quarantine protocol and deworm themselves. Or perhaps you should discuss it with them as they may prefer to do it when they get them home...I know I do the quarantine deworming and request breeders that I buy from not to deworm prior to my picking them up.
