I can get alot of my chores done, including grazing and still get to stores to get supplies before it's too "peopley", or I can get out and train detection dogs in the real world when everyone is still asleep or haven't left their homes -- though more recently there are more homeless. druggies, etc sleeping where we used to train. Love the fresher air as well since there are fewer cars etc.
AND --- best of all ---- it's not pitch dark out when I get up in the morning.

It just shows how it affects different people. I'm glad it's better for you, but it truly wasn't a good thing for my husband. Who had to go to work in the dark and come home in the dark. It really doesn't matter quite as much to us now since he retired. Except, my natural circadian rhythm is up at 7 and bed around 10:30, but it still takes me awhile to fall asleep even at that time, even when I had to wake up before 5am for at least 35 years and I was lucky to get 5 hours of sleep. So, I personally still prefer more light at the end of my day. Just because that's the way I'm wired.

It's sad to see all of the messed up people in the world and some areas have become quite scary. I never go out walking without my CCW.
