she was bred to simba.so the calf she lost was red an white.oops i forgot we had 2 hereford or herf cross bulls 1 old holstein bull with them till we got simba 2yrs ago.
ok yall heres part 2 of the $25 jersey x bull calf.the calf had tobe tagged with a dairy ID tag.showing that it came from a dairy.but the herdsmen didnt tag the calf before we picked it up.so he called this morning saying the calf needed tobe tagged.so he drove out here an tagged it.so he wouldnt get in trouble with the owner.we got to talking.an i just happen to know the owner of the dairy.as well as this boys ex father in law an his cousins.foundout they milk 190 holstein jersey an hol X jer cows.their barn is an old double 8 flatbarn with 4 milkers on ea side with auto take offs.takes them less than 2hrs to milk 191hd.they are permitted to milk 200hd.the cows are pumping out 60lb a day ave.an they are doing it on 30lb of grain a hd a day plus pasture.he has 60 cows thatll go dry this fall.an just bought 30 reg jersey cows an heifers from a high powered jersey breeder.thats also a friend of ours.
Whereabouts are you again, wyne? The offspring of a heifer I sold some years ago ended up via Missouri in northeast Tx at a Jersey farm. Sure wish I had her back.
I traced them thru registrations at the AJCC.
